The day prior to your surgery one of our nurses will call you to review instructions and your arrival time on the day of surgery.

Important Pre-Operative Instructions:

• Please arrange in advance for a responsible adult to drive you home from the hospital and remain with you for the first 24 hours after surgery. You cannot drive yourself, be left alone or leave the facility in a taxi cab.
  
  
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing such as loose pants with an elastic waist and easy to button shirts or blouses that are large enough to accommodate a bulky bandage after surgery. Wear comfortable shoes.
   
• All jewelry, including watches, rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and any other valuables should be left at home.
  
  
• Be sure to bathe or shower prior to your surgery. Do not use oils or lotions after bathing.
  
  
• Remove all makeup and false eyelashes. Contact lenses may not be worn during surgery. Please wear your glasses.
  
  
• Remove nail polish.
  
  
• Young children may bring a favorite toy or blanket.
